This past weekend our client, Tropfest USA hosted the world’s largest short film festival at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York. The festival was hosted Liev Schreiber and a panel of great judges including Lake Bell, Malcolm Gladwell, Fisher Stevens, Leonard Lopate, Charles Randolph. With over 22,000 people in attendance, the festival ended on a musical note as the short film The Unlikely Maestro won for first prize. Directors Tristan Klein and Nick Baker of Australia claimed the first prize of $20,000 and a week of invaluable meetings with prominent film executives in Los Angeles, courtesy of the Motion Picture Association.
