Citi Announces Season Two of Citi Community Home Runs Program

Today is the first of Spring and although there is snow falling at Citi Field, it was nice and warm down at Spring Training in Port Saint Lucie where we helped Citi announce Season Two of their Community Home Runs program with the New York Mets and program ambassador Curtis Granderson. Citi is bringing back the community initiative in 2015, where they will donate $2,000 each time a Mets player hits a home run at Citi Field this season to local communities such as United Neighborhood Houses, YMCA NY, USO Metro NY and City Harvest. The program raised over $138,000 last season and the goal is to surpass that total this season. Today we helped celebrate the announcement of the program by arranging for a meet-and-greet with Granderson and 14 year-old volunteer and honor roll student Anthony Rodriguez from UNH who was ecstatic to meet one of his heroes. Check out some of the photos and for more on the announcement go here:http://citi.us/1I1rmum
