DKC is proud to announce the newest member of our team, Molly Currey, who will oversee a new national consumer packaged goods practice and focus on growing DKC’s presence across the Midwest. Currey will join DKC’s Chicago office in July as an Executive Vice President.
With more than sixteen years of experience in the industry, Molly’s expertise includes developing large brand campaigns, executing national media relations, directing large-scale product roll-outs, as well as creating, planning and managing high-profile events. Molly was most recently Executive Creative Director in the Chicago office of GolinHarris, where she lent her creative expertise to many of the agency’s top accounts including McDonald’s, Lipton, Walmart, Mountain Dew, BP and Walmart.
”Molly’s extensive experience building national communications campaigns for some of the country’s most familiar brands, coupled with her strategic, results-oriented approach and proven track record with business development make her the perfect fit to expand our presence in the Midwest and grow a nationally recognized CPG practice,” said Sean Cassidy, president of DKC.
Prior to her most recent role, Molly – who joined GolinHarris in 1999 – focused her expertise in automotive/sports/motorsport and hotel/hospitality marketing. Over the years, she managed all of the GolinHarris motorsports clients, most recently IZOD IndyCar Series. On the hospitality side, Molly managed programs for many high profile hotel clients in Chicago including W Hotels Chicago, Hard Rock Hotel Chicago and the Elysian.
Molly should have no problem keeping up with the fast pace of DKC. In addition to her professional experience, Molly also holds a 1998 World Championship off-road title and 2002 Pikes Peak Hill Climb “Rookie of the Year” making her the only female in history to race a 1,000 horse-power semi-truck up Pikes Peak Mountain.
