Moving On Up…

I am thrilled to announce that DKC took a major leap into the future this month, signing a long-term lease for new office space.

The 30,000 square-foot space is located at 261 Fifth Avenue, an historic art-deco building at the corner of 29th Street across from the landmark Marble Collegiate Church.

Our new office is being designed and constructed to DKC’s specifications and will feature bright, open architecture across two floors with great views of the Empire State Building. Moreover, DKC has the ability to expand within the building, ensuring this remains our home for years to come.

The move comes at a time of significant expansion for DKC. Last year, we launched DKC Connect – a full-service digital communications and social networking division – and DKC Government Affairs – a government relations and strategy group with offices in Albany, New York.

Additionally, DKC demonstrated substantial growth across multiple divisions during the first half of 2010, winning such great clients as Yahoo!, Beam Global Spirits & Wines, Kraft’s Capri Sun, Time Warner Cable and Harrah’s Entertainment Atlantic City. Our new offices will enable us comfortably to house our growing public relations, marketing, digital and government affairs services in one cohesive space, just steps from Madison Square Park and the Carlton Hotel.

Following a multimillion-dollar build-out, we plan to take occupancy of our new office during fourth quarter of this year, marking a major step forward for the company.
