DKC Incite recently produced an event for City National Bank entitled ”The Thread Connection”. To engage City National Bank‘s female clients, the event offered guests a behind the scenes look into the fashion world of NYC. ”The Thread Connection” was hosted by designer Nanette Lepore and was held in her design studio in the Garment District. In coordination with the Save the Garment Center, the tour of Lepore’s studio gave the guests an authentic understanding of the brands growth through the years while offering an understanding of building a global fashion brand in the USA. The night continued at the Theory flagship store in the Meatpacking District where guests were welcomed by the brands Artistic Director and Designer, Olivier Theyskens. Guests enjoyed champagne and hors’ doeuvres as Theyskens discussed the inspiration behind the Spring 2013 Collection. To conclude the night, guests explored Mr. Theysken’s collections in the store, all of which were offered at a discounted rate for the evening.
