DKC Partners With Columbia University`s
National Center For
Disaster Preparedness

Prompted by numerous inquiries regarding the COVID-19 pandemic from organizations and businesses across many sectors, DKC – in partnership with Columbia University’s National Center for Disaster Preparedness (NCDP) – has mobilized a unique team of crisis strategists, disaster planning and risk assessment specialists, government relations and regulatory experts, a rapid-response digital monitoring and targeting team, as well as internal and external communications professionals.

The DKC/NCDP mission is to help organizations identify operational vulnerabilities and take the appropriate logistical and communications steps to ensure employee and customer safety with minimal disruption to business. The team is equipped to provide 360 rapid response to DKC clients as well as any companies, institutions and nonprofit organizations seeking assistance managing logistics planning, government liaising and communications during this public health crisis.

NCDP is under the direction of one of the nation’s preeminent disaster specialists, Irwin Redlener, MD, with whom DKC has had a longstanding relationship. The DKC/NCDP collaboration includes leading academic experts and executives with public sector emergency service backgrounds, many of whom were active on 9/11 well as during Hurricanes Katrina, Maria and Sandy.
